Marple Cottage Surgery Patient Priorities

Overview

Marple Cottage Surgery is committed to improving services and facilities for our patients.

We value patients involvement in telling us what we are doing right, and what we could do better.  We established a Patient Forum in 2008 to help provide a direct link with our patients, and, together, we have conducted many patient surveys to seek views and ideas from the wider patient population.

Only with patient involvement and support will the practice know if we are achieving our goals of improving service quality and patient satisfaction.

Why We Are Consulting

In recent years there has been a national postal patient survey which was designed by the Department of Health.  Neither the practice nor our patients had any involvement in designing this questionnaire.

This year, we can, together, design our own survey, with questions designed by patients to ask the questions you want to know.

Marple Cottage Surgery and Marple Cottage Patient Forum are planning to design a patient survey in October 2011 but to ensure we ask patients the right questions we would like to know what you think the questions should focus on ie key topics / priorities.

Once we have established the key priorities, Marple Cottage Patient Forum (patients from the practice) can set about designing a survey which we will then make available for our patients to complete.

Thank you for taking the time to complete this mini-survey
