Description: If you are interested in the big planning issues facing Chorley, Preston and South Ribble councils over the next 15-20 years, now's your chance to have your say! The three councils are beginning a new process of planning positively for the future growth and development of our area, and we want to hear your views. We are working together because our big planning issues cross our boundaries. We want to start a real, open debate about the big planning issues in the area, and the possible options for dealing with them. We have identified eight major planning themes and we want to hear your views. You can find out more about our suggested issues and options under each of these themes by clicking on the menu bar to the left. Do they make sense? Have we missed anything out? Finally, this planning work is not part of the current debate on the future options for local government re-organisation in South Ribble and Preston. Whatever the outcome of that debate, it still makes sense for the three councils to work together on planning issues.
