Following the parking consultation that was carried out in June / July in Zones B and C, it was found that there were significant differences in responses from residents of Zone C based on their location in the zone. 

The consultation results showed that residents in the streets bounded by Addison Gardens, Blythe Road, Shepherds Bush Road and Shepherds Bush Green have real difficulty in finding a parking space particularly in the early evenings and on Saturdays. Contributing factors included the western extension of the congestion charge zone, visitors to the W12 Shopping Centre and cinemas, an influx of parking outside of the hours of operation and concern about the future effects the Westfield Shopping Centre may have on weekend parking. 

We are therefore proposing to split Zone C into two zones and create a new area called Zone CC. The new zone boundary will depend on the response we receive from each street in this consultation.

That is, if a street does not show clear support for change, then it may be excluded from the new zone even if the overall results are positive.
