Fulham Palace Consultation Phase 3
Fulham Palace Consultation Phase 3
We recognise that Fulham Palace is an invaluable asset for the residents of Hammersmith and Fulham, both as a beautiful building with picturesque grounds and as a place for the local community to learn about their history.
The Palace has recently seen the restoration of the Georgian quadrangle and projects to restore the gardens and outbuildings are commencing.
However, our aspirations do not stop there.
Importantly, we are now seeking to complete our programme of works by restoring the Tudor wing of the building to establish far greater public access to the Palace. We are looking to increase dramatically the museum space available in order to create an exciting and interactive learning experience to convey the history of the Palace and the local borough to visitors. This will enable the council’s renowned collection of Pre-Raphaelite paintings (the Cecil French Bequest) to return to the borough for permanent display to visitors of Fulham Palace.
The council is totally committed to providing a resource that serves the residents of the borough and so we would really appreciate your help and input by answering this brief questionnaire.
