User and department management
Group consultations and users into departments/teams
Citizen Space lets you group consultations and users into separate teams. You can create as many teams as you like, and most clients choose their team names to mirror their organisational structure.
Flexible user hierarchy
There is no limit to the number of administrative users you can create. To reflect the different levels of accountability within your organisation, users can be given one of three possible roles:
- Individual admins: can create and publish consultations, view responses to their own consultations, and edit any consultations they previously created.
- Department/team admins: as above, but can also edit and view responses to the consultations of any other members of their team.
- Site admins: as above, but can edit and view responses to all consultations in the site, create new users and teams, and change sitewide settings.
Analysts
Sometimes you may need to provide read-only access to one or more consultations, for the sole purpose of analysing responses and generating reports. The Analyst role was created for this purpose, and it is safe to allow external contractors to log into your system as analysts. Analysts cannot view details of any other users in the system; create, edit or publish any consultations, or change any site settings.
