Citizen Space is a web application, which means that your users only need a web browser to use it. There are no specific platform or operating system requirements - if your staff can access the web from their computers then they can use Citizen Space.
You do not need to install any software on your organisation's servers or on any of your employees' computers. Upgrades and maintenance are all handled by us, with no need to roll out the software across your organisation whenever a new version is available.
The standard subscription for Citizen Space provides comprehensive support, covering:
Optional extras include training and consultancy, add-ons, and complementary services from our worldwide partners.
We currently have servers based in secure data centres in the UK and Australia, and we're working to add more territories - if you require localised hosting (typically for data and privacy reasons), we're happy to help.
For a standard subscription, we host multiple Citizen Space applications on each of our secure servers. This is efficient and helps keep costs down. To protect data, each application is sandboxed for security.
However, if you are expecting unusually high volumes of visitor traffic, we can host your site on its own dedicated server, or even distributed across multiple load-balanced servers.
Most customers don't need this option, but for those who do, we have plenty of experience scaling Citizen Space for high-profile national issues.
