Proposed Parking Restrictions on New Fosseway/Wells Road
Overview
Limited waiting parking restrictions are proposed on both Wells Road and New Fosseway Road. This would hopefully restrict parking to a 30 minute period, resulting in a greater turnover of parking for customers or deliveries to the shops. Further details of the proposals are shown overleaf.
Why we are consulting
Hengrove and Stockwood Neighbourhood Partnership has identified the introduction of short term parking restrictions in the vicinity of the Post Office / Convenience store as one of their local traffic scheme priorities.
What happens next
This stage of the consultation is aimed at providing those residents and businesses who would be most affected with an opportunity to consider and comment on the proposals, before further design work and the statutory consultation with the wider public is carried out.
