Ashley Hill / Cobourg Road – Junction Improvements
Overview
We are proposing to install an island to formalise the junction layout, encouraging vehicles to reduce speed on the approach to Old Ashley Hill and to help reduce the conflict with vehicles exiting Cobourg Road. The island would be supplemented by six cycle stands to prevent obstructive parking and a tree is also proposed.
Why we are consulting
This consultation provides an opportunity for residents and businesses in the immediate area to consider and comment on the proposals before further design work is undertaken.
What happens next
The results of the consultation will be used to input into the final design before moving onto the statutory consultation process.
