Budget proposals 2012-13

Overview

The council has published its draft budget proposals for 2012-13 for consideration and comment.

The proposals seek to address the council's reduced funding from central government which is reducing by £70 million until 2014/15.  This is the second year of savings and change - in 2012/13 the council needs  to save a further £21 million.

Please visit the Budget Conversation website to read more about the background and the proposals.  You can have your say by leaving a public comment or complete the private comments form.
