Policing Priorities Summer 2011

Overview

This consultation aims to gather your views on what you feel are the key policing priorities and what services you think the police are responsible for providing. We will also be asking you whether you are aware of the proposed introduction of an elected Police and Crime Commissioner in Avon and Somerset.

Why we are consulting

The Authority is responsible for developing an Annual Policing Plan which sets the priorities for the police in Avon and Somerset in the coming year. The feedback you provide via this survey will help inform the development of the 2012/13 Policing Plan.

What happens next

Thank you for your views. Your feedback will help the development of the 2012/13 Strategic Policing Plan. The Policing Plan is a joint commitment between the Police Authority and the Constabulary. It sets out the policing priorities for Avon and Somerset Police in the year ahead.
