Citizen Space 1.4

The updates to Citizen Space keep on coming, so what’s in the latest release …

Featured consultations

Designate a consultation as ‘featured’ and it will appear above the forthcoming, open and closed consultations on the hub page. You can also add a brief description and an eye catching image.

Social media toolbar

A ‘social media toolbar’ has been added to the consultation overview page containing Tweet, Facebook and Digg buttons. Now users can share consultations that interest them with friends, family and colleagues.

Consultation closure reminder email

Two weeks before the close date of the consultation the owner will be sent an email reminding them that it will be closing.

Consultation results/feedback reminder emails

Reminder emails will be sent to the consultation owner (and CC’d to site administrators) once a week for consultations that have passed their results date and not yet had results entered, or passed their feedback date and not yet had feedback entered.

RSS Feed styling

If your browser does not natively read RSS feeds, then when you click on the RSS icon you will see the raw xml which kind of looks a bit broken (it isn’t it just needs an rss ‘reader’ to decipher it). So we’ve added some XSLT which will let any browser see a formatted and readable feed.

Bug Fixes

As with every release, we continue to make improvements to usability and fixing any bugs that have been identified in previous releases.
